At One & One Paris, the friendly atmosphere is guaranteed! This traditional French restaurant, located in the famous Passage des Panoramas, is a typical inspiration of the Roaring Twenties.
We are welcomed with a big smile and warmth. People are chatting, laughing... it's a jump in the Paris of the 20's. The walls are pink, the benches are red and the furniture is wood. This gives off a certain positive energy and brings character to the room. Once installed, the setting becomes quite intimate, we are in a bubble between friends. The ceiling of the first floor has a square hole, allowing to see the room of the floor. It is possible to come with several people without worries because large tables can be arranged.
Concerning the menu, the specialty of the restaurant is the burger! There is a large choice of burgers, all having a specificity or a particularity. They are thick, generous and greedy burgers. They are all made from fresh products and made in France.
If we hesitate (they all make our mouths water), the service staff is happy to advise us. There is not only carnivorous burger, there is also vegevore burger to the card, of what to satisfy the papillae of each.
The original surprise when we are served: our burger is branded "One & One Burger" on the brioche bun. This adds an extra value and makes you want to capture the moment in a photo (for your Instagram).
A BURGER FULL OF FLAVORS AND GREEDY
We have tasted two burgers that we highly recommend:
The Fried burrata burger built with a baker's bun, homemade pesto, arugula salad, tomato and breaded burrata. The burrata when cut is flowing and fresh. An original burger!
The Pulled pork burger which is based this time on pulled pork, cheddar, bacon and salad! Something we rarely find in Parisian brasseries (which often only offer breaded beef or chicken).
To accompany, of course: home-made fries, which you can add melted cheddar.
It's really a place for sharing and honoring the art of the table.
At the end of your meal, we recommend a stroll through the Passage des Panoramas. In these times of autumn and approaching winter, rest assured, it is a covered passage. It exists since 1799. You can find windows and period decorations welcoming "food shops, art craftsmen and collectors". It is a very charming place. The passage is animated on more than 133 meters.
And to end your evening with friends, attend a performance at the Théâtre des Variétés, which is still in operation!
